Ditra acts as a crack isolation system to keep any cracks on movement in the subfloor, from cracking your tile flooring. Ditra also offers a floor heating system to keep your floors warm throughout the cold winter months, while eliminating the extensive process and high costs that come from using other heating systems.
Warranties & care
All Tile and Marble come with a manufacturer's warranty and a one year warranty on our installations.
Proper maintenance is the key to a beautiful tile & marble floor. It is important to seal your
natural stone to maintain stain resistance. At Mystic Coastal Flooring, we use Tec
Power Grout with all our installations, which eliminates the need to seal the grout
and makes the surface resistant to mold, mildew and staining.
Wipe down your floor with a damp mop at least once a week (or more often for heavy traffic areas) Routine cleaners should never contain acids, vinegar, chlorines or ammonia, as these chemicals can damage and discolor the grout or the surface of the stone or tile.
Wait at least 72 hours after installation to allow new ceramic tile and grout to dry before damp mopping.
